The R1C (‘C’ for Compact) Traditional Archery Bow one-strap backpack is made from only toughest materials available. Designed mainly for those that takedown their traditional bows when in transit to and from the range or the forests. I bought one of the R1C cases after using other Little Ax cases and needing something a bit more compact when space was at a premium in the cab of my ute. The case works with a couple of my takedown recurves and is a nice way to be able to carry them with me while walking around hunting spots before starting a stalk, or taking them to and from shoots with me. The case has lots of pockets that allows me to store all of the gear I need – stringer, bow square, spare string, tab/glove, etc. I recommend this case to anyone who wants to take their bow down and wants a sleek, simple option to carry it anywhere but also protect it effectively.

I have never written a review, but I think this case warrants it. After a long search for a good case for my take down recurve, I came across Little Ax.
I am very glad I did. This is a great case with a well thought out and practical design. There are numerous pockets for your items along with a pouch to hold your arrow tube. This is a high quality product. From the material to the stitching to the zippers, this is well constructed. It is a product that is reminiscent of yesteryear when items were built to last and you get what you pay for.
The service was prompt and Anthony answered any questions I had. I highly recommend this bow case. And if this case is an indication of the products offered by Little Ax, I definately recommend them.

This is exactly what I’ve been searching for in a compact case for my takedown recurves! It easily fits even my large target recurve and all the accessories and you can even squeeze another set of limbs in. Plus you can attach your arrow tube to the outside and you have everything you need in a compact, practical and durable case that will protect your precious bow without taking up too much space. Ideal for the range or strapping to your backpack on a hike.
